Delivery Information

Here at Smarter Fragrances we offer ‘Free Delivery’ on all orders. We use Royal Mail 1st Class service. For orders £150 & over we send via Royal Mail ‘Special Delivery’ which is aimed to deliver your items the next working day by 1pm. For ‘Special Delivery’ your purchase needs to be placed by 12:30pm in order to be shipped the same day. Any orders placed after 12:30pm will be shipped the next working day, however, in some circumstances your order may even be sent the same day depending on the volume of orders.
Working days are from ‘Monday - Friday’ and exclude Weekends and Bank Holidays.

For 1st Class 'Signed' & ‘Special Delivery’ a tracking number for each order will be sent by email (assuming one has been provided at checkout). Your order can be tracked at https://www.royalmail.com/track-your-item 

For ‘1st Class Signed’ the tracking only shows when the item has been dispatched & delivered.

For 'Special Delivery' the tracking will give you staged updates. Smarter Fragrances is NOT responsible for & cannot alter the delivery times once the order has left our premises, however if a delivery is not made within the stated timescales for ‘Special Next Day Delivery’ please contact us so we can look into this for you. If you have specifically PAID for ‘Special Delivery’ then this delivery charge will be refunded, unless the reason for late delivery is an act of nature, such as adverse weather conditions, or Industrial/Strike action by the delivery company.

Delivery Times & Goods Lost In Transit

Royal Mail are operating slower than usual during Pandemic times. 1st Class is no longer necessarily 1-3 days and Smarter Fragrances Cannot affect Royal Mail delivery times. Any items not delivered, must be reported to Smarter Fragrances within 7 Working/Postal days after dispatch. Smarter Fragrances, will not accept claims for non-delivery of items sent by Standard 1st Class Post, if we are not informed of non-delivery within 7 Working days of dispatch of your order. When informed about non-delivery, we are required by Royal Mail, to wait a total of 21 working days before a claim can be made for a lost item, and therefore we do not consider items lost until 21 Working days have passed. At this point a claim will be raised and a replacement item sent (stock permitting). Where items are out of stock a refund will be made. 

In the event of an order lost in transit the customer is required to cooperate with Smarter Fragrances and Royal Mail in dealing with the claim. Failure to cooperate may invalidate the claim for a lost order.

Smarter Fragrances cannot accept responsibility for delayed or lost orders due incorrect delivery addresses being provided. Customers Order Confirmation email will state the delivery address given with the order. This is the customer's opportunity to inform us of any errors. It is the customer's responsibility to ensure that all delivery details supplied are correct to ensure no issues occur with delivery. If email contact details are not provided and we are unable to confirm the details given by the customer, again ‘Smarter Fragrances’ cannot accept responsibility in the event of delayed or lost orders due incorrect delivery addresses being provided.

NO REFUNDS / EXCHANGES

Here at Smarter Fragrances we do NOT offer refunds or exchanges so please take this into consideration before purchasing any items from our website. This is because the items can be opened/used and tampered with. We hope you understand this and to avoid any disappointment please be sure which items you want before going ahead and purchasing. Once you have placed an order you will be accepting this policy.
